South Asia Ecumenical Partnership Programme (SAEPP): In August 2003 the South Asia Ecumenical Partnership Programme, now popularly known as SAEPP was launched. Initiated by the Asia Desk of the World Council of Churches and supported by ecumenical partner agencies and churches of the “north”, SAEPP was a time bound vision to equip the capacities of the South Asian National Councils of Churches and its member constituents in four areas identified as top priority areas by the region. National Councils in India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal and Sri Lanka are participants in this vision.
